It is a unique formulation of the “B” Vitamins and offers a balanced, comprehensive combination of essential B Vitamins and key co-factors that are needed for proper carbohydrate metabolism and energy production.

  • B-vitamins play a critical role in supporting metabolism and boosting energy
  • Improves muscle tone
  • Helps maintain health of the nerves, skin, eyes, hair and mouth

B vitamins in supplemental form are a complex combination of many nutrients. A complete B-Complex contains a minimum set of ingredients consisting of thiamin, riboflavin, niacin, pantothenic acid, B6, B12, folate and biotin.

Vitamin B1 & B2: Vitamin B1, or thiamin, is an important coenzyme that helps the body convert food into energy and assists in manufacturing fat and metabolizing protein. Thiamin is needed to maintain normal function of the nervous system and supports a healthy heart. B2, or riboflavin, works synergistically with other B vitamins to metabolize carbohydrates, fats and proteins.*

Vitamin B3 & B5: Vitamin B3, or niacin, acts as a coenzyme, assisting other substances in the conversion of food into energy. Niacin works with other vitamins to metabolize food and provide energy to the body. B5, or pantothenic acid, helps the body extract energy from carbohydrates, fats and proteins. It also helps to metabolize fats and produce red blood cells and hormones from the adrenal gland.*

Vitamin B6, Folate & Biotin: Vitamin B6 is three substances (pyridoxine, pyridoxamine, and pyridoxal) that work in unison to metabolize protein and amino acids. Folate provides cardiovascular support and also plays a role in the release of serotonin, a key neurotransmitter. Biotin acts as a coenzyme in the metabolism of fats and carbohydrates, the breaking down of proteins, and the conversion of amino acids from protein into blood sugar for energy.*

Vitamin B12: When supplementing with B12 in its most common form, cyanocobalamin, an intrinsic factor made in the stomach must be present in the intestinal tract in significant amounts to allow for the absorption. Low levels of B12 can in many cases be attributed to the body’s inability to absorb it. This leads to supplementation becoming ineffective. The best way to increase absorption of vitamin B12 is by taking it in the form of methylcobalamin, due to methylcobalamin B12 not needing an intrinsic factor to be absorbed.*

Studies show “B” Vitamins support a wide variety of critical health functions:

Promotes Healthy Nerves: B-Vitamins are essential nutrients and have a huge impact on overall health and on the health of your immune system. They’ve been shown in many scientific studies to help the body cope with stress and promote normal sleep patterns. This is because B vitamins support the maintenance of healthy nerves in your body. B vitamins also have a beneficial impact on adrenal function, which is vital for properly regulating your response to outside stress.

Good for Circulatory Health:

Daily consumption of a B-complex supplement can have a favorable impact on your overall circulatory health. Vitamin B6, B12 and Folic Acid help support healthy homocysteine levels in the blood, which is important for maintenance of cardiovascular health. B vitamins also play a key role in the formulation of red blood cells in the body.

Enhances Energy:

B vitamins are critical for releasing the energy stored in carbohydrates. The average person partakes in at least one of the activities that may diminish B vitamins levels within the body (alcohol, coffee, tobacco, sugar, sodas, and stress). It’s important to regularly replenish your B vitamins so your body can have a constant supply readily available.

The Roex Difference:

The Roex breakthrough: As mentioned, vitamin B12 in the form of methylcobalamin B12 is already a usable form of B12 that does not have to be converted for use. Roex uses B12 in the form of methylcobalamin, making it easy for the body to absorb…

Roex has added alpha lipoic acid to the B-Complex due to its critical role in the conversion of carbohydrates into energy, giving the formula an added energy boost. Along with alpha lipoic acid, we’ve increased the B6, B12 and Folic Acid to better support healthy homocysteine levels in the blood stream.

This amazing formula does not have a “rotten egg smell” like most other B-Complex’s because we use vegetable cellulose coating to keep the ingredients in our tablets fresh.
