B Complex is a combination of all the B vitamins in the proper balance, plus
additional vitamins, amino acids and digestive enzymes that enhance its
effectiveness even more.
Vitamin B1 (Thiamine): Thiamine enhances circulation and
assists in blood formation, carbohydrate metabolism, and the production of
hydrochloric Acid which is important for proper disgestion. Thiamine also
optimizes cognitive activity and brain function.
Vitamin B2 (RiboBavin): Riboflavin is necessary
for red blood cell formation, antibody production, cell respention, and growth.
It is important in the prevention and treatment of cataracts. Riboflavin also
facilitates the use of oxygen by the tissues of the skin, nails, and hair.
Vitamin B3 (Niacin, Niacinamide): Vitamin B3 is needed
for proper circulation and healthy skin. It aids in the functioning of the
nervous system; in the metabolism of carbohydrates, fats and proteins, and also
lowers cholesterol. It is helpful for schizophrenia and other mental illnesses,
and is also a memory enhancer.
Vitamin B5 (Pantothenic Acid): known as the
"Anti-Stress'' vitamin, Pantothenic Acid plays a role in the production of
the adrenal hormones and the formulation of antibodies; aids in vitamin
utilization, and helps to convert fats, carbohydrates, and proteins, into
energy. It is required by all cells of the body and is concentrated in the
organs.
Magnesium: Magnesium is a vitai catalyst involved in energy
production. Magnesium assists in Calcium uptake and also aids in maintaining the
body's proper PH balance.
Vitamin B6 (Pyridoxine): Pyridoxine is involved in more
bodily functions than almost any other single nutrient. It is beneficial for
water retention, and is necessary for the production of Hydrochioric Acid and
the absorption of fats and protein. It is required by the nervous system, and
is needed for normal brain function and for the synthesis of the nucleic acids
RNA and DNA, which contain the genetic instructions for the reproduction of all
cells and for normal cellular growth. It activates many enzymes and is
important for immune system function and in antibody production.
Folic Acid: considered a brain food, Folic Acid, is needed for
energy production and the formation of red blood cells. Folic Acid is very
important in pregnancy. It helps to regulate embryonic and fetal nerve cell
formation, which is vital for normal development. It also strengthens immunity,
and may also help depression and anxiety.
Vitamin B12 (Cyanocobalamin): Vitamin B12 is
needed to prevent Anemia. It aids Folic Acid in regulating the formation of red
blood cells, and helps in the utilization of Iron. This vitamin is also required
for proper digestion, aids in cell formation, helps prevent nerve damage, and
promotes normal growth and development by maintaining the fatty sheaths that
cover and protect nerve endings. B12 is linked to the production of
acetylcholine, a neurotransmitter that assists memory and learning.
Biotin: Biotin aids in cell growth; in fatty acid production,
in the metabolism of carbohytdrates, fats, and proteins, and sufficient
quantities are needed for healthy hair and skin, and may prevent hair loss.
Choline: Choline is needed for the proper transmission of nerve
impulses from the brain through the Central Nervous System, as well as for
gallbladder regulation, liver function, and lecithin formation. It minimizes
excess fat in the liver because it aids in fat and cholesterol metabolism.
Without Choline, brain function and memory are impaired
.
PABA (Para Amino Benzoic Acid): this nutrient helps
protect against sunburn and skin cancer, and aids in the maintenance of healthy
intestinal flora. Paba may restore gray hair to its original color if the
graying was caused by stress or a nutritional deficiency.
Lecithin: a type of lipid that is needed by every living cell
in the human body. The protective sheaths surrounding the brain are composed of
Lecithin, and the muscles and nerve cells also contain this essential fatty
substance. This nutrient helps to protect against arteriosclerosis, protects
against cardiovascular disease, improves brain function, and is needed to help
repair damage to the liver.
Arginine: Arginine enhances immune function, is good for liver
disorders and aids in liver detoxification by neutralizing ammonia. Arginine is
very helpful for the healing of and repair of damaged tissue, and aids in weight
loss because it' facilitates an increase in muscle mass and a reduction of body
fat. IT IS ALSO A POTENT GROWTH HORMONE RELEASER, which many experts
feel is one of the key components of anti-aging.
Alpha Lipoic Acid: helps to neutralize the effects of free
radicals in the body by enhancing the antioxidant function of Glutathiane,
Vitamin C, and vitamin E. This nutrient ensures the proper functioning of the
key enzymes that convert food into energy. It has shown in the research to be
very protective to brain cells.
Vitamin-A Benefits:
growth and repair of body
tissues, helps maintain soft and smooth skin, protects tissues from infection,
involved in secretion of gastric juices for protein digestion, builds strong
bones and teeth, formation of rich blood, reproduction, cell membrane stability
and development, immunity, maintaining good eyesight, night vision, beta
carotene helps protect the body from some forms of cancer, RNA enhanced by
vitamin A (RNA involved in cellular communication)
Lecithin: helps keep the brain, heart, and liver healthy, and aids in the absorption of thiamin (vitamin B1) and vitamin-A.
Inositol: may be helpful in lowering cholesterol levels. It has been found to be helpful in the promotion of healthy hair, the prevention of eczema, and as an aid in the redistribution of body fat.
