The Roex Perfect Whey Meal Replacement is a high quality protein formula that has an incredibly great taste. It is a low carbohydrate, low sugar, low fat, low calorie, and a high protein drink. It mixes easily in the fluid of your choice. Remember that if you mix the Roex Perfect Whey Meal Replacement with fruit, juice or milk the calories will be increased. Also if mixed with 7.5 ounces of milk you will add 8 to 9 grams of protein. The Roex Perfect Whey Meal Replacement has been enhanced with enteric-coated vitamins and minerals, whole food concentrates, digestive enzymes, other phytonutrients and the herbal thermogenic Citrus Aurantium that helps you burn more calories.

The ion exchange whey, whey protein isolate and whey hydrolysate (peptides and amino acids) help build a stronger, leaner and harder body. In addition, the major and minor protein fractions of whey protein enhances the immune system and provide a powerful amino acid profile that helps to support your general health and also improves recovery from exercise.

The Roex Perfect Whey Meal Replacement has 43 grams of protein per serving. The combined amount of all nine essential amino acids in the Roex Perfect Whey Meal Replacement drink includes 15.59 grams, which is 47.31% of the total protein. Within the essential amino acid total includes 7.58 grams of the branched chain amino acids (BCAAs) which is 23.01% of the total protein. Nine non-essential amino acids make up the remainder of protein with 17.36 grams, which is 52.69% of the total protein.

This nutritious high protein drink can be used in a number of ways: to lose weight (fat), gain functional weight (lean mass), to assist in exercise recovery, or to use as a "meal on the run" in the 21^st century pace of life. It can be used as a snack, exercise recovery drink, with a meal or as a meal by itself.

NOTE: Do not use the Roex Perfect Whey Meal Replacement as the only source of nutrition and eat at least 1200 calories per day. Furthermore, do not lose more than two pounds per week. Cholesterol:

It is normal to have cholesterol and it is an important part of a healthy body. It is used to form cell membranes, some hormones and other needed tissues. However when cholesterol becomes too high it becomes a health problem. A high a level of cholesterol in the blood is a major risk for coronary heart disease and stroke.

Humans get cholesterol in two ways. Your body makes some of it, and the rest comes from animal products that are eaten, such as meats, poultry, fish, eggs, butter, cheese and whole milk. Food from plants like fruits, vegetables and cereals do not have cholesterol. "

The American Heart Association recommends limiting dietary cholesterol to no more than 300 mg daily. The 18 mg contained in one serving of the Roex Perfect Whey Meal Replacement is 6% of the recommended daily cholesterol of 300. The body manufactures about 80% of the total cholesterol (70% in the liver and 10% in other tissues). Dietary intakes account for 20% of the cholesterol levels. Reducing the dietary intake of cholesterol is recommended as well as engaging in moderate to vigorous exercising for at least 30 minutes per day for 3 to 6 days per week.

Vitamin P:

Bioflavinoids are closely associated with Vitamin C, promote its uptake, and act synergistically with it in all of its functions. Bioflavinoids help to strengthen the capillaries and reduce the risk of hemorrhaging. They also help to remove excess inorganic copper from the system. Sources are lemons, oranges, grapefruit, and grapes.

PABA (Para Amino Benzoic Acid):

PABA is a B vitamin, and is part of the folic acid molecule. PABA can be made by our intestinal bacteria, and is found in liver, brewer’s yeast, wheat germ, whole grains, eggs, and molasses. PABA used as a sunscreen, can protect against the development of sunburn and skin cancer from excess ultraviolet light exposure. It is also important to hair pigment and intestinal health. It aids bacteria in producing folic acid, it assists in the breakdown and utilization of proteins, it aids in the formation of red blood cells, and as mentioned above it has been used as a sunscreen. Indications of deficiency include fatigue, irritability, depression, nervousness, constipation, headache, digestive disorders, and graying hair. There is no RDA.

COPPER (Trace)

Copper is necessary for the absorption and utilization of Iron. It is also part of the antioxidant enzyme, superoxide dismutase (SOD). Copper supplementation has been shown to increase SOD levels in humans. In addition it helps oxidize Vitamin C and works with Vitamin C to form elastin, which is a chief component of the elastin muscle fibers throughout the body. It aids in the formation of red blood cells and helps proper bone formation and maintenance.

Copper is needed to make adenosine triphosphate (ATP), the energy the body runs on. Synthesis of some hormones requires copper, as does the synthesis of collagen (the "glue" that holds connective tissue together). In addition, the enzyme, tyrosinase, which plays a role in the production of skin pigment, requires copper to function.

You get copper from seafood, organ meats, and legumes. It is essential for oxygen transfer and iron metabolism.

The DV is 2 mg/day.

Choline:

Choline is very important in controlling fat and cholesterol buildup in the body. It prevents fat from accumulating in the liver and facilitates the movement of fats in and out of the cells. In addition it helps regulate the kidneys, liver and gallbladder, is important for nerve transmission and helps improve memory. Choline is found in soybeans, liver, oatmeal, cabbage, and cauliflower.

Calcium:

Builds and maintains bones and teeth; regulates heart rhythm; eases insomnia; helps regulate the passage of nutrients in and out of the cell walls; assists in normal blood clotting; helps maintain proper nerve and muscle function; lowers blood pressure; important to normal kidney function and has been shown in current medical research to reduce the incidence of colon cancer and reduces blood cholesterol levels.

Calcium is the most abundant mineral in the human body. Most of it (99%) is located in the bones and teeth. Calcium is needed to form bones and teeth and is also required for blood clotting, transmission of signals in nerve cells, and muscle contraction. The importance of calcium for preventing osteoporosis is probably its most well-known role. Calcium plays at least some minor role in lowering blood pressure.

Most dietary calcium comes from dairy products. Other good sources include sardines, canned salmon, green leafy vegetables, and tofu.

Inositol:

Inositol is necessary for the formation of lecithin which aids in the breakdown of fats. Also, it helps reduce blood cholesterol and helps prevent thinning hair. In addition it is required for proper formation of cell membranes. It affects nerve transmission and helps in transporting fats within the body.

Nuts, beans, wheat and wheat bran, cantaloupe, and oranges are excellent sources of Inositol.
