CONTRAINDICATIONS:
Chitosan has been used safely as a dietary ingredient for more than two
decades. Other than binding fat within the body, it is inactive. However,
Chitosan is not indicated for anyone who has a shellfish allergy, or anyone who
is pregnant or nursing. As with all fibers, the consumption of 6 to 8
eight-ounce glasses of water daily is strongly recommended. Chitosan may prevent
the body from absorbing essential fatty acids and fat soluble vitamins A, D, E
and K. This may be avoided by consuming all medications, fat soluble vitamins
and supplements at least two (2) hours before or after ingesting Chitosan. For
best results, consult your health care provider when using any weight loss
product.
